The next Explore Colour course will start on 12 October. Flower Collage II is a four week long online art course inspired by flowers, but done in different ways and linked to various themes and art styles. Daily mini projects that will guide the way, and explain processes used to create layered mixed media painted paper collage artworks. This method is a great way to explore ideas and expand creativity with a focus on using traditional materials alongside new generations paints, and combining alternative techniques in water based media on paper. The course is structured to develop art practices regardless of artistic experience, it is suitable for designers, illustrators and painters. Discover new paint techniques, ways to create colours and use them in combination to extend artistic knowledge, inspire new projects and expand art practices.
There are four modules in Flower Collage II. The mini projects done on weekdays build up to a bigger weekend artwork project. The closed Facebook group is where five live demos will be shown to compliment the course content. This is also the place where feedback is given on work posted.
