Zest: New FREE course

New FREE course (23-27 Nov) open for registration!

What do you do when life gives you a load of lemons? Something alternative and fun is the answer! I've created a short and sweet (not sour) five-day art course as an antidote to this weird time we find ourselves in. It's called Zest.

Why Zest?

Zest: noun, eagerness, energy and interest.

Zest is a feeling of pleasure and enthusiasm. It's  a quality in an activity or situation which you find exciting. It's also the outer part of a citrus fruit, used to give added flavour!

The Course

Zest is running from 23-27 November. Join me, be inspired, find joy in simple things. Make time for creativity, let's make some art.

The course's five project are straightforward with limited art materials required and it's FREE until the end of December. So let’s play!

Background

I’ve offered online alternative art courses regularly since 2015, and continue to develop new ones every year. During the first 2020 COVID-19 lockdown in the UK, I created a free short course to promote creativity using my Creative Leap principles. Over 20,000 people joined that course, Colour Play. I am now back with a new offering which will give you a glimpse into the way I teach and will showcase ideas and processes similar to those used in my longer online courses.

For Zest I've kept art materials to the basics: the focus is on creativity, exploring simple ideas + shapes and painting techniques and experimenting with mark making in ways that are suitable for artists of all ages and abilities.

Channel your inner five year old and join in the daily projects that'll be linked to lemons and shapes found in the letters of the alphabet.

Coming Up

Creative Leap Imaginarium is the next full course I'll be offering in 2021 Early Bird Registration will open in December.
