Bali Retreats

In July I will be teaching once again on an Creative Living art retreat in Candi Dasa, East Bali, organised and hosted by Anna Kwiecinska.

I've been teaching on art retreats in this dreamy location since 2022 and am looking forward to being there again next month.

Our destination for the retreat is off the beaten track, nestled amongst tropical palm trees and on the edge of the Indian Ocean. This is where you’ll find Anna’s light and airy villa.

During the retreat you'll be learning new techniques and processes in an art program I've developed especially for this tropical inspired retreat. We’ll be focussing on mono-printing and painting in acrylics and mixed media in layers.

Location, Location, Location

This idyllic part of the world is a perfect place to indulge your senses and take a break from everything. A full week dedicated to art making, relaxing and enjoying the company of other creatives. Take a dip in the beautiful clear water right on our doorstep or dive in the pool during a lunch break.

On the first day of the retreat we'll experience an immersive sound bathing session, with breathing yoga sessions and massages by skilled hands right on location.

You'll be treated to a variety of traditional and contemporary Balinese dishes, all freshly made and delicious. We'll also visit the iconic Vincent’s Restaurant in Candidasa for one of their live jazz evenings.

During the retreat we'll be going on day tip to visit the ancient village of Tenganan where we'll be shown traditional textiles being woven, perfect for some authentic Balinese design inspiration. When the weather is good we'll be going on a boat trip.
